Great list Vince! I'd say it's time to get the family out to Lagoon right away and start planning now to take your kids down to Moab and run your mountain bikes around the loop. You'll never forget it.
I see nothing gastronomic on your list and you are right in the midst of some fun culinary delights. Here's two for your list:
1) Spaghetti factory with the family. Inexpensive and fun. The food is terrific and the atmosphere rocks.
2) Breakfast at Ruths up Immigration Canyon with Hyeon-Ju. Go on a nice morning and catch the brunch on the patio....oh so nice!
Great List. When you make it to Moab you have to go to Milt's after your Bike / Hike ... Great "locals" favorite to refuel after activities. I would add house boating on Lake Powell. Week after Labor day gets you lower rental rates, less people and warm water.

When we moved from Virginia to Utah, I told lots of friends that I'd keep up our blog so that they could keep track of us. Well, that was 14 months ago and turned out to be only good intentions.
When we moved to Boston in 2002, we knew that we might only live there for a couple of years, so we proactively tried to see everything we could, historical sites, landmarks, fun things to do. After about a year, when we told some Boston natives what we had done so far, we would often hear the comment, "You have done more and seen more in one year than we have our entire lives!". How true that can be when we grow up in a certain area and really never take the time to explore the things in our own backyard.
We took that same approach in 6 years in Virginia, although true to form, we did much more in the first 2 years in Virginia than the last 4.
We have been back in Utah for 14 months now and one of the first things we did when we got here was to create a big list of things we wanted to do. Here it is (and its growing). The items marked with a * are things we have already done. Tell us what we are missing! (Note, some places are not in Utah but close enough!)
