I dreamed
that someone
interviewed me
about
what my daughter
would learn from
playing D&D.
I told him
I didn't have
a daughter,
but I would
imagine...
"Well, to start with,
D&D was a product
of its times. It was
a cooperative game.
It couldn't be made
today.
When you are playing,
and solving problems
in the game,
you get to feel
intelligent,
and when you fail
a savings throw for
climbing an ice wall,
hopefully you will feel
brave but unlucky.
In the end,
you get to find out
who you really are,
or want to be.
