Friday was my birthday and it was one of the best I've had in years. It was on a work day, which wasn't the best timing, but it was a pretty calm day and I was able to start it off with a jog on the beach with Millie Mae. We went to lunch at French Pantry and I enjoyed the quiche and company of my family. Andrea and the kids got me some nice new shirts, including a Jeep shirt to go with my new Jeep, which was officially my big birthday present. 
Andrea asked me multiple times for fun birthday plan ideas, but I insisted on a quiet day at home and that's what I got. After last year's drama around my birthday, I was extremely happy to have a peaceful birthday with my wife, kids, and puppy dog.
