There's a bio about the interviewer here:
http://www.techsploitation.com/about/.

The line that caught my eye was this one: "I've recently completed a book, based on my doctoral research, about capitalism and monster movies (forthcoming from Duke University Press)," but it looks like she has a lot to say about digital rights as well.

that article is ok, but not the true steve mann: too superficial about what it means to be a networked self. I find steve to be very sensitive and patient as a enhanced human. He also can be a true friend, dispite the other persons imperfections. I guess one begins to see ones imperfections when one is continously recording everything and then uses technology to improve the self, as well as the cybernetic subcommunity. It does take on more responsibity to engage with that kind of self. Steve is very comical ect in his performances. He sees himself as very human and is very concerned about frail persons.
