Hi Billie, My name is Susan- mother of a former 29 weeker. I somehow stumbled onto your blog while searching about developmental delays and I am so touched by your story. Thanks for this wonderful blog and I cried so hard reading your "grieving" post. You said it so clearly how I have been feeling and some of the other preemie moms feel. thank you! Susan

Haha, did they really HAVE to get their faces painted? It looks like it was such torture. I hope they smiled afterwards. :)
Billie, I'm looking for M & W art smocks and would love to know where you got those. Also, is that an IKEA easel? Do you like it? Is it easy to use with the stander?
Lisa, I bought the art smocks at Michael's, and they are Crayola brand.
Yes, the easel is from IKEA and we love it. It is a good height, and Eden's stander can pull right up to it (when she doesn't have the big wheels on). The girls love it! Billie

Do you mind if I ask how you get Eden standing like that? Those two are just too cute.

barnyardmama,
Eden is in her Rifton Dynamic Stander. We've tried several standers, but so far we like this one the best.

Oh, I want to say, too, that you can tell Eden has gained some weight in these pictures! I know that is a great feeling for you!

I love to watch kids paint...they totally get into it, don't they? Eden's got her tongue sticking out of her mouth. I love it!
