There was a Miss Eden sighting! I was lucky enough to be at the mall shopping with my daughter when I turned around and there she was in her stroller with her Grandma and Grandpa. Billie, how very fortunate you are to have such lovely people in your life, Eden is a doll (even though you could tell she wasn't feeling up to snuff) and your parents are delightful. Peace and blessings to all of you, I think of you often and your family is always in my prayers. Get well soon!

My husband and I are sending postive wishes for better health for your little ones. We too have a micro-preemie born at 25 weeks, 1 lb 11.5 oz and 13 inches long. We've been very lucky that our Lily is now off of meds completely and has no complications. Today at 6 months adjusted age she is 18.5 lbs and 24.5 inches. We've been reading your story over the past 9 months and are always very happy when your girls overcome setbacks. Thank you for sharing your story. Laura (mother of Lily)

[Image] The good: Following two really terrible, worrisome days, Holland is finally showing signs of improvement. She actually got up and played today, and was smiling and talking a mile a minute. She also drank a good 20 ounces of formula, which is the most she has had in weeks. She is still rejecting all food except chips. Today I brought her some Doritos and she enjoyed them immensely. She had a tea party in the playroom, played balloon baseball with Aunt Kimi, and jumped on the bed. Definitely an improvement from yesterday when I could barely get her to sit up in bed.
Yesterday they had bumped her up to 3 liters of oxygen. Today we were able to get down to 1.5. She is currently satting 98 on 1.5! That's good. She had another x-ray last night, which showed that her left lung was slightly compressed, so today we have done lots of percussion (pounding on her back and chest) to help loosen things up, and she has done a lot more good productive coughing. I think we are on an upswing with her.
The bad: Eden is extremely sick. She has a fever, severe congestion, and a terrible sounding cough. I am sick again too. My theory is that Holland actually ended up catching a second virus while in the hospital last week. So she got better, but was sick again before the pneumonia cleared up completely, which is why she got so knocked out by the second sickness. Now Eden and I have both caught the nasty hospital virus. Just my theory, but I think it holds water. I plan to call the peed in the morning to see if we can get Eden in right away. Hopefully she and daddy get a good night's rest tonight at home.
The ugly: Are you crazy? There's no ugly around here!
