Billie- I am sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well, I hope that you have a speedy recovery. I just can't imagine having to care for those two little sweethearts and feeling so bad myself! I am glad the girls are doing so well.

Hey Billie!

I was so excited to hear about all of the great advances the girls are making...How very cool about Eden's hearing - Isn't technology wonderful?? I'll keep you in my prayers with the kidney stone too. Coming from someone who's had four within the last five years, I feel your excruciating pain. Feel better soon! Jen

I got chills when I read about Eden's hearing. A little teary-eyed, too.

Glad physical therapy is going well, too.

Hope you feel better.

Ok, I forgot "Papa!" That's a big one! And just yesterday Holland started saying car and pickle. She is really interested in words that have two diffent sounds, like pickle, and will practice saying them over and over. It's so funny. Last night..."pi-ko, pi-ko, pi-ko..."

Hi- Thank you for the sippy cup tip! I still can't get my preemie to take any milk from a cup- just water. I'll try the Nuby. For Holland- My girl has a left side issue too (she didn't have an IVH). She was meeting all milestones, but was a little off ( in terms of quality of movement, kind of like what I'm reading here).

Our PT decided on a short term use of orthotics and it has made a major difference in how my daughter cruises and aligns her body. She's so much more solid now! Its kind of radical, given that she has no diagnosis and was progressing, but its something that has made a major change in daily functioning (in terms of subtly moving properly). She would have walked anyway, but I figure it couldn't hurt to fine-tune muscle movement and development. Maybe ask about that as an option. -E

Also, could you please post when Holland's talking skills took off like that and if you did anything special? Thanks.

Hopefully you feel better soon! It is so wonderful that Holland and Eden are doing so great! I'm really quite jealous about the sippy cup success. I thought we had some success here, but I was wrong. D won't touch them now, again!

Take care,
Shannon
