The decorations are all so wonderful. We lived in the desert in S. CA for 8 years - I never did get used to a green christmas or dinner on the patio - though it was enjoyable. We don't get snow here for christmas but about every 10 years - which is fine with me. I also loved all of the sentiments in your post - perfect for this time of the year
