How fallishly gorgeous! It makes me think of gorgeous oranges and yellows, and cooler weather...summer has become something I just would rather skip...now if I lived in a different state it might be different..but I agree with you..105..sheesh! My weather station again says "dangerously high heat index".
Oh wow! Those are beautiful. Mine are just open now and I love looking at them out the window. I, too, love Fall but there is no way I am ready yet. Love your vase, too. :)
Very bright and cheery - love the pitcher. We don't wish for autumn here because that is when the rains start - and rarely stop until late spring. Summers here in the PNW are gorgeous - mid 70s - slight breezes and no bugs. But I do like a bouquet of sunflowers now and then even in the summer Lovely photos and collages.
Beautiful sunflowers, and they do go with the roosters. I have a few blooming in my garden now (sunflowers, not roosters) but, unfortunately, they can't make it seem any more like autumn.
Really beautiful sunflowers!! The first autumn magazine arrived here yesterday, I am not reading it yet!! I don't want to be tempted by autumn, I am still waiting for summer! xx
Oh no way, can't have fall yet! But gee your photos are bright and vivid and stunning fun!

Well we'll be 90's this week and humid, so I am in there with you. Saw turkeys and pumpkins at the crate and barrel outlet with the kids yesterday, ugh, really? In July? NOT ready for fall even though I hate the heat. xox

Beautiful images! I would love fall if it didn't mean back to school.
I adore sunflowers too. They are perfect for summer and fall. I even created a blog post about the sunflower napkin fold back a couple of years ago. Stay cool my friend.
I really do love sunflowers. Such a happy flower. I know I am replying a few weeks after this post, but have a happy week, and thank you for stopping by my blog on 10 August!

Is it fall yet?!
Feels like temperatures over 105 make me dream of fall.
I get emails daily with previews of fall merchandise
and, occasionally, items for Christmas.
You'd think that would cool me off!
My favorite magazine arrived.
That's good!
The Cottage Journal Autumn issue is full of gorgeous photos.

It made me want to go out and find fall!
So, when I went to the grocery early in the morning I came home
with the closest to fall I could find --
Sunflowers.
At least they are the right color
and they look fall-like in one of my favorite pitchersÂ
that I use as a vase.
It is hand built, heavy and, the most important thing, fall like!

I adore sunflowers and the collages are fabulous....I wouldn't mind fall coming if it lasted longer...like spring it can be such a short season here.
