Looks fragile but is really quite hardy. I rode the lift with a young woman from Houston recently. She said the winter has been warm.

That is a beautiful Iris .. looks almost like an orchid from one angle. I love this. Iris are my daughter's favorite flower and I don't see them often any more here in Florida (although have found a few wild Japanese Iris near here).
