Hello, your lunch sounds delicious. Baltimore has the similiar Restaurant week too. It is a good benefit to all.
I like the art exhibit especially the Spirit Codex.

Happy Monday, enjoy your new week ahead!

What a fun outing. That food sounded so yummy. Wish I had some right this minute. It is getting about eating time. Guess I will just have to settle for some chicken noodle soup I decided to make. Be sure to tell us about more outings you have like that.

I like "Spirit Codex" VERY much! And I like that big "jacks" sculpture too -- I was a great jacks player when I was a girl, LOL!

That sounds like a grand afternoon, Snap. I'd like to have such a lunch and then wander to look at the art - and I'd have HAD to visit the bookstore. Michael s - well, I am waiting for a particular sort of yarn to be offered at half price. I made a blanket with it last year and really liked working with it.

Thanks for your kind comments. Lunch with friends is not just a special treat, but a gift that we give each other. I didn't realize the that you live in Houston. I have relatives in the Woodlands and dear friend, La Grange, and Dallas. Love Texas.

Yes the postcards are a good idea. And even a visit to view and feel the yarn can be refreshing. There are such gorgeous colors. You and your friend have a fun idea there and I'm sure you run into all kinds of interesting experiences as well as some good lunches!

Good food, interesting art, and a feeling that you didn't need to purchase anything add up to a good day, one that fills one with contentment. Interesting art pieces - there is much creative talent in the world.

What a lovely way to spend the day. Going to a new restaurant and then seeing the art exhibit. I think you should have definitely gotten a postcard or two, the dragon was looking mighty fine.
