My parents are buried in Oklahoma and neither of my sisters who live there is well enough to take flowers to them.. Next year I'm going to call a florist to do it.
We keep our decorations up till 4th of July too.

Wonderful post! Your photos are just lovely.
Memorial Day reminds me of my dad, too. He served in WW2. I miss him so much...

There's something about red, white and blue that just makes me want to break into the National Anthem … inspiring (your decorations, not my singing)! Looking forward to seeing the products of your "hibernation".

Hi Snap! Long time, no chat. Quirky is good; I like quirky, too. Are you really hibernating this summer? The heat? Your shawl is just lovely and probably just the right weight for cool summer evenings or cold air conditioned cars or rooms. Thanks for popping by to visit me today.

Your patriotic décor is just lovely, are you still a collector of vintage items, do you add to it throughout the summer months? Love those quirky vases so whimsical and fun, thanks for sharing with the Mosaic Monday crowd today.

The shawl is so lovely...what a pretty color too! And we hibernate when it gets hot too. I have to run my errands first things in the morning and then stay inside all afternoon. But I have lots of fun projects planned. LOVE your patriotic pretties! Hugs, Diane

I love your patriotic decor. Did your figurines come from Christmas Traditions? I used to search the website for cute patriotic inspiration. Thanks for sharing at Keep In Touch.
