The best thing about cosmos is that they will grow darn near under any conditions! The other thing is that they are an essential component of a butterfly garden, as you have illustrated. You made me want to go right out and sprinkle seeds!

I was on a walk today, and I was thinking that the bulbs/seeds I bought so very long ago are most definitely no good anymore *sigh* Maybe, like you, I'll try putting them in the soil anyway.
