Baylor! He needs to grow into his skin - what a cutie. I loved the video. At 500 lbs, I can see those baby pools wouldn't last long with that active little one. I'm going outside to garden now, Snap - I'll be smiling because of Baylor.

Oh, what a cutie! I love how he has outgrown his pool to play in, how cute is that? I love your photography too. You really have a talent for capturing the personality of each animal. Karen
Baylor was named for the Baylor College of Medicine where researchers are investigating the elephant herpes virus. Asian elephants are threatened, not only in captivity by the herpes virus, but also in the wild. The research that Baylor is doing is very important for the species.
Baylor has no fear. He runs right in the middle of the other elephants. He's a busy little guy.
[Image] We took oodles of photos of this little guy. I put the camera on sport mode and just let the camera go! I'm sure you'll be seeing more of him in the future.

Oh Snap..... I love seeing Baylor.... You don't realize how small he is 'til you see his mother beside him...
He does need a new pool... Hope he gets one soon.
Have a great day.
