I love pumpkin bread and pumpkin custard - I made some this weekend and it makes the house smell so good. I love the autumn cooking with pumpkin - maybe I'll make some pumpkin soup.

I don't think we can overdose on pumpkin, can we? Our daughter made a pumpkin lava cake in a loaf pan for Thanksgiving and wow, I'll be making this myself for sure. The papillon cowl you're showing has beautiful soft colours.

Like your jack O lanterns - after Halloween take the face pieces off and use thru Thanksgiving. :) My daughter enjoys lots of the pumpkin spice items, and would blow her budget if there was a TJ's close to her. Suppose to be getting one in my area by next Summer and I am looking forward to shopping there.

I like some pumpkin stuff but the other day Starbucks (in my supermarket) was handing out samples of pumpkin latte and I couldn't even finish the little pill cup ... Yuk! A waste of good coffee ... I'll stick with plan vanilla!

I've added the tulip, waves and puff rows.
I am trying to follow their suggested colors by using my stash yarn.
I'm delighted to see my stash dwindling.
The more it dwindles ... the more yarn may be in my future!

Mina has to give her seal of approval.
I think each kitty would like an afghan of their own.
While I wait for the next section of the afghan to be posted,
I'm working on more cowls for gifts for the coming holidays.
There are a number of birthdays to think about, too.
This is the Papillon Cowl and it does resemble a butterfly.
