What a cute postcard, Snap - reminds me of my own girlhood. My Grands are starting school Monday - soon our town will be quiet again because most of the tourists have gone home. I can hardly believe summer will soon be over.
Oh the good old days... when we played outdoors instead of inside with our electronics :)

How about some fun before the classes start?
"School days, school days
Dear old golden rule days
Readin' and 'ritin' and 'rithmetic
Taught to the tune of the hickory stick"
(Music by Gus Edwards | Lyrics by Will D. Cobb (1907)
It is tax free weekend here.
The stores will be filled with back to school shoppers.
I'm staying home!

What a darling postcard! lol Reminds me of myself and my brothers and sisters when we were little.
I had such a great childhood--the joy of those days seems reflected in this wonderful picture.
Have a great weekend and Happy PFF!

That photo just goes to show that some things don't change with time. :)
