If I was in Houston right now, your doorbell would be ringing. I'd bring some tea if I could have a small piece of that cake, Snap! Glad you're in the fall mode after your hot summer. Nights are going to frost here - soon the snow will fly!

Hello,Snap,
It is fun to see those many pumpkins. They are colorful and smiling, quite different from ours in Japan. That little anole is sweet, even looks like a toy!
Have a good weekend.

As we move into Autumn I'm hoping we have an Indian Summer! I actually enjoy the season and all those Autumn colours. I like your welcome wreath on your door and the pile of pumpkins in the store.

Love everything about this post. I'm thinking the cake would be a great one for potlucks when we get back to Upriver ... wouldn't dare make it for just us, because we're old and sorta' sugar free ... but one little piece wouldn't hurt. (It's just if I made it for us, even for us and another couple, which is all the room I have for entertaining here, then we'd eat it all.)

You seem to have a mix of seasons there with fall pumpkins and spring tulips and iris! The dump cake sounds delicious and very sweet! Might even give it a try. I think ice cream would be perfect with it.

that's a lot of pumpkins! I guess nothing says autumn quite so well as a beautiful orange pumpkin, especially once you carve a spooky face into it!

You sure know what's coming when the pumpkins appear at the market. I've never made a dump cake but they sound so easy. Of course the heavy, sticky lemon cake I made and showed on my blog could be considered a dump cake. lol
