That is the prettiest owl I have ever seen! What a beautiful tea cup...the perfect size if you can also enjoy a serving of tomato soup. (Did you get the tins from Joann's this year with the beautiful owls on them? You might find one for 70% off now. I do love a tin for keeping things fresh.)
I absolutely love your teacup! The design is marvelous! There are a lot of owl collectors. They represent so many good traits, don't they? I'd collect your owl pattern for sure! Thanks for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea! Ruth
Lacey Owl is a beautiful cup! It has already been well broken in with all the treats you have had in it! That is what I call a versatile tea cup! I do love the bigger cups too. Your new tea sounds delicious! Hugs, Terri

Really different cup and saucer, I like it so much. We have a mating pair of bard owls here and a small Eastern Screech in the yard from time to time. They are quite amazing creatures aren't they. xox
Happy New Year, Snap! What a sweet teacup! I love the lacy owl design and it sounds like you have enjoyed many a treat in it. Very cute, and thank you for sharing it with us.
You got me with the title of this post....as you know we are big owl fans in this house and are amassing quite a collection. Tomato soup with half a grilled cheese sandwich - I think that will be my supper!
Lacey Owl is adorable...Funnily enough I've had an owl fetish lately and then my son mentioned that he was painting little owls on his new babies room ...I wonder if this isn't " The Year of the Owl" ..( HA HA) Lacey is most delightful and of course who could resist this adorable teaset...I love the colour too.... It a joy to be back into teatime !!!..Hugs
This is the sweetest tea cup! Love the pattern and the colors as well as the shape! Nice square-ish saucer.
I recently bought a pair of tea cups from an Oneida outlet while visiting our daughter in Up-state NY. It is a large, shallow cup and though I love the shape, especially for soup, I noticed foods/beverages cool rather quickly.
Love those lacy owls, they're adorable Snap! The perfect bowl for soup and cereal too :)

I love owls.
I've been collecting them since I was a very small girl.
I guess I've always loved the wise old owl often seen by Merlin's side.
Magical!

So, it is no surprise that Lacey Owl has been added to the owl and teacup collection.
This is a huge teacup.

So far in the cup I've had:
tea
hot chocolate
cereal
oat meal
tomato soup with half a grilled cheese sandwich on the plate
and I'm sure I'll find more drink/food to fit!
I have a new favorite tea:
Orange Jasmine by China Mist.
This is a white and green whole leaf tea blend in a sachet.

Now, that is a beaut. Don't you feel that some pieces of china just belong to us; they were meant to be ours. I see that here. Hugs, Deb

Snap- that is just TOO CUTE!
You could even put a pretty little plant or some coloured eggs in it for spring when it comes, nice having it that large.
The colour is sweet, too!
