Your rose is gorgeous! I can smell it from here. Of course I remember the ghost and Mrs. Muir. I loved that show. I shall look for this book.

I remember the Ghost and Mrs. Muir, too. It was a wonderful show--I love the whole idea. I think I'd like to see it again--and show it to all my young friends who've never heard of it!

These postcards are marvelous. Thank you so much for sharing them.

Happy PFF!

Wonderful post cards. My snowball tree is in full bloom but it's rather cool - only up to 65 today. The roses are loving it but none are in bloom here yet. Nice post.

Book recommendations are always great. I am jealous of your fresh green beans. There's still a month to go before we can even plant the seeds!

I can understand that the Buccaneer needed modernisation but it's always a shame when an old building is torn down. Its memories go with it.

I'm really glad the oaks have been put to a more permanent use as sculptures and carvings.

Lovely roses!! And fresh green beans are the best. Found a recipe on Pinterest for Arkansas Green Beans - they have brown sugar and bacon in them. Going to give that a try one day. The sculptures from the old trees that sadly were destroyed are wonderful. Great post!

Love your entries for both PFF and This and That. The roses are lovely I can almost smell the scent. My pink ones are in bloom yesterday and they have the most amazing smell. I don't have any linen postcards but they are really great to collect.
Have a nice weekend. I'll see you (and your entries) again next week.
