Snap, I love the journal page with the woman and I look forward to seeing where you take her...it's a magnificent beginning.
And your counted cross stitch is delightful. I spent so many hours doing counted cross stitch and loved it. I haven't taken up a needle in over 10 years...time passes much too quickly. As does our eye sight!!
Snap, That journal page drawing is amazing! Wow, and that's just a study? Beautiful. I wish I could draw. Both my sisters got that talent. Me? Not so much. I have to settle for word pictures.
Love the cross stitch, but I can't do it. It would kill my already overtaxed eyes (computer eyes.) must save them for work... But it sure is cute.
Thanks for sharing a page from your journal and such a beautiful pensive lady in your collage. The colors really speak when I enlarged. And I'm glad we share the Blue Rider!
Your journal page woman is so beautiful - very Modigliani in flavor. I understand leaving her where she is for now though. Have fun with the book making.
Thanks for the hugs today. They mean a lot as we go through this with our sweet old lady, Singer. Much love !
Oh Snap..wowowowowowow!! That is so beautiful hon - I just loooove it! I look forward to you completing it at some point!! The cross stitch is darling hon!! I love to needlepoint myself!! Hugs to you hon, Sarah
Reading glasses? I'd need magnifiers to do cross stitch! He's great and I love the journal page..can't wait to see how she turns out...

I thought I'd share some Works In Progress with you.
Most of my journal time the last few weeks have been spent writing about Rocky.
Before Rocky's passing, I had started this lady. I was quite excited about her. I wanted to work on a few techniques before I put her on canvas. This is from my journal.
[Image] I'm not sure now where I'm going with her, but I'll start again -- one day.
[Image] You can tell by the wrinkles that this is definitely a WIP! What a lot of fun! Reading glasses are a must!
My book making supplies have all arrived. YeeeeeeHaaaaaaw!
