We have two new roses to plant today and were just talking about moving something to make room - but then I read that put roses in containers. We have two enormous containers - a great way to put a rose or two in a place with sun and no soil. Thank you!

I love roses and have 4 that have been faithful bloomers in Denver. In Breckenridge, only wild roses will grow and sometimes they only provide hips. Your photos of the roses are wonderful, Snap - I can almost smell them. I met a couple from Houston when we stopped over at Beaver Creek on the way home from OR. They talked about the heat and drought.

Sending a rosy hello from Frog Hollow Farm! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog post about Panicale - we loved our visit to that wonderful little farm! Your post is very inspiring, my husband and I have tried raising roses but have not had much luck with our two bushes. Do you have a good beginner book on roses that you would recommend? We visited the rose garden at the Brooklyn Botanical gardens a week ago - I'll be posting about it in a few weeks. Ciao, bella! xxoo

Your roses are lovely! I really like the salmon pink color, but they're all beautiful. Aren't you glad to have the fragrance, because so many roses don't have a fragrance, to speak of. Thank you for visiting my blog and taking time to leave a comment. Have a great week!
