Great shots! The fan sounds a very clever idea. I have a hard time with humidity but I love to walk around gardens in the summer time, until I can't take the heat any longer or have gone through my water supply. The photo of your fisher bird is impressive. Have a great weekend :)
The Crepe Myrtle is gorgeous.. And I love the beautiful heron, what a catch! Wonderful photos! Thank you for linking up to my critter party, enjoy your weekend!
I'm glad you have Japanese garden close to you♡♡♡ What an important mission and great capture of beautiful white heron:-) I love the scene heron with crepe myrtles.
Sending you Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
What a beautiful spot Snap. Lucky you getting so close to the Great White Heron - lovely pics. I've only ever seen grey herons here. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Shane
What fabulous photos at the Garden! (I take it it's hot there?) The Heron and the myrtle together - couldn't be better.

I had never been to the Japanese Garden when the crepe myrtles were blooming.
(Probably because it's always too blooming hot.)
This year I was determined to visit and I made it.
Camera, water bottle and fan in hand.

It was worth the visit.
I almost always see a whistling duck or two and a yellow-crowned night heron.
Not this time.
This time it was the elegant great white heron.
All of a sudden -- there he was.

I walked around the water fall and tried not to disturb him.
He was there on an important mission.
