How heart warming...from the heart shaped spot, to the love between man and animal...love has no boundaries...you can see that they sensed that from one another. Beautiful!
Ooh, giraffes! They're fascinating creatures! Thanks for sharing your story about your Quinn with me :o) My Quinn is a female, but she is perfectly delightful as well, she purrs as soon as you look at her!
When I think of my childhood visits to the zoo, it is the giraffes I remember most. We could feed them then, and I was fascinated by their long dark tongues. What a wonderful experience for your grandson. Keeping you in my prayers! Adrienne
Great pictures, and reminds me of one I have of me, Washington Park Zoo (now called Oregon Zoo), with my dad holding me up to feed one of the giraffes. My parents said that a woman standing next to them could not believe that they'd allow me "to feed such a dirty animal". lol
Every time I look at that photo I think of that story. lol

Super cute shots of the two youngsters. My daughter has a heart-shaped birthmark on her neck too!
I was always impressed with the Houston Zoo... Now I am even more impressed. Neat video/pictures. Your grandson is such a Cutie.... Seems like he and Myles are friends now!!!!
What a great photo of Myles and the baby Giraffe. He looks like such a delight. Camera Critters...sounds like a greeting card line. That one of your grandson with the baby giraffe would be perfect for wordless Wednesday.
Wow, what a lot of critters! Some in the video, I've never heard of. I love the photos of THE grandson and Myles. They look like they had a bond there.
This week I'm sharing some photos of THE grandson
feeding the giraffes at the Houston zoo -- mainly Myles.
It took awhile before THE grandson got comfortable,
but then he didn't want to stop
[Image]
and Myles didn't want him to stop.

If you look carefully at this photo,
on Myles neck, near the top right,
one of his *spots* is heart shaped.
Too cool!
We'll always know which giraffe is Myles -- look for the heart!
