I have a cat asleep on my feet this very minute. He does bear a passing resemblance to the one on your lovely card, and looking down your sidebar, very like Cassie too.

A lovely kitty card which seems contemplative - unlike Miss Cassie in full health and form! Have a good weekend, Snap. I hope your sun is shining.

I think what appeals to me most about cats is their self-assuredness. They seem so darned convinced that they are on the right path. A lesson I could learn, perhaps. Also, their knowledge that they are taken care of. While us, mere mortals, struggle with the idea that we are loved and protected.

Beautiful postcard... My hubby collects Chinese stamps---so I would have recognized that cat anywhere, as being a Chinese cat!!!! Gorgeous!

Hey Snap,

I'm glad to hear Cassie is recovering and is getting back to her old self.

I have a deep fondness for Fareastern and Asian art. Especially Chinese silk paintings! Thanks for sharing this one here.

Have a wonderful weekend...
