Hello, the peaches look yummy. I will be looking forward to the local peaches here too. Your lilies are lovely, beautiful colors. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
Those peaches look delicious. I love it when the local fruit comes into season. We've got strawberries at the moment with raspberries only a couple of weeks away.
Oh, I agree about the peaches! I love fresh ones so much. And garden ripe tomatoes too! One could eat till you passed out, on each of them! Beautiful lilies as well. It's chilly here again today...such weird June weather to me!
Nice to see you again,Snap! Oh, your peaches look delicious! Your lilies with drops are beautiful. Now,the time for peaches has come in Japan too. Many places have grown their own peach ,and each taste is slightly different. Yes, peaches grow well on hill countries,I have heard.
Thank you for your kind comment after my blog break. Happy day to you!
Flowers are such mood-raisers! And peaches...this is the first year in the 10 years that I have lived in New Zealand that the peaches were juicy and delicious at the same time! I ate more peaches last summer than I have in a long time!!
Oh the fragrance, taste and appeal of farm fresh [produce. My mother would love those peaces and also make all kinds of goodies with them. Nothing better than a slice of a fresh warm tomato with a sprinkle of salt. Yum~
A post guaranteed to make my mouth water, simply delicious. Your fleur de lys blooms are stunning, love the way you captured the raindrops on them. Happy Mosaic Monday, have a great week.
I had slices of peach on my oatmeal this morning...nothing better! (well except maybe your smoothie! heehee) Love all of the fresh produce in season. And I took a photo of a flower like your grapette day lily. I didn't know what it was! I learn something new every day! Hugs!
Fresh peaches are such a delight, and well worth waiting for. Ours will be along in a couple of months. There's nothing like sun-ripened tomatoes, too. Summer is such a wonderful season for eating!
Such lovely delights for eyes, soul and... I like peaches so much, as well! It is their season, indeed! Also, wonderful blooms in June. A very sunny new week!
Oh I love Farm Market produce.... the peach photos are making me drool! Beautiful Day Lilies too. What's the most wonderful time of the year? (Christmas?)

The second most wonderful time of year
is when peaches make their appearance at the Farmer's Market!
I was afraid there would be no peaches this year.
The best peaches in this area are grown in the hill country.
They need cold weather and they didn't get much last winter.

I've been having peach smoothies for breakfast.

I also came home with tomatoes.
It's bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich time.
With half of the tomatoes gone and only a few peaches left,
a trip to the market next Tuesday is definitely in order!

In Musashi's garden,
the day lilies I ordered from Oakes Lilies are starting to bloom.

Little Grapette was the first to bloom.
2″ bloom, 12-18″ tall, Early Season, Semi-Evergreen.
Deep grape colored blooms with a deeper purple band around a small chartreuse throat.

This is Mini Pearl.
3″ bloom, 16″ tall, Early-Mid Season + rebloom,
Masses of blush apricot pink blooms are held low on short scapes.

My area in SC is well known for peach crops. Everyone gets upset when a frost or something knocks a lot of them out of the picture
