You got some good shots of the egrets in the tree. I usually can't get close enough to them in a tree. Usually I see it when we are on the water and we can't get the boat close enough. I also learned that there is a bale of turtles, hmmm...bale of hay and a bale of turtles...go figure!
A bale of turtles, that's news to me. They are quite adorable all sitting on top of one another. Egrets look unreal, almost prehistoric to me, in a beautiful way of course!
Snap, Great tree top photos of the egrets. And who knew the turtle clan is called a bale? That was a really SMALL island they were sharing! Great shots!
Adorable critters! That Egret is very elegant in the tree, but I'm in love by those cute turtles! :) Amazing place there, really beautiful! purrs, love and a great Sunday Luna and mommy Léia
After Mr. Dragon and yours truly visited the Dinosaurs at the Houston Zoo,we shared a drink and sat watching for any action on the pond.
It was late in the afternoon and everything was quiet. No kids running around.

I saw the egret fly into the tree and thought it was probably too far away to get a good shot.

I took several shots and when I uploaded the images when I got home I found this one.I didn't see the second egret when I took the shot.Surprise!
