I can well imagine all this! We have what is called 'Southern Lights' at the Kentucky Horse Park. It's a drive-thru display which ends at an indoor exhibit, very similar to yours, with gifts, etc., for sale. They're so much fun, aren't they? It's become an annual tradition ... at least as long as my granddaughter believes in Santa as this is where she goes to see him. This may be the last Santa year, just not sure ...

I don't think of a light show like this associated with a zoo, but then ours ends up covered in snow. Not sure if it closes for winter too.
