Love Moo ! Your postcard recepients are very lucky.
The contestants on Project Runway All Stars had to use Radiant Orchid in their designs. Bright and brilliant color.
Love this winter scene, definitely dreams of spring in there somewhere.
I'm having them here!
Good luck with the repair work!
Happy Friday!

I'm sorry to hear about the drip. I noticed a bit of one in my basement and need to figure out its source.

That's a shame you didn't hear back from all of your post card recipients last year. I hope you have better results this time around.

I signed up for Liberate Your Art too. This will be my first time. My tree is still up but I took the decorations off. I wanted to use the lights on the tree to get some more bokeh shots.

Love the post card of the girl with birds...that's me. LOL

As for the orchid color, I'm still looking. I'd love to find a turtle neck in that color. :o)

lovely postcard, I like the post card art swap-I joined Postcrossing and most people do not want homemade cards, it isn't so bad, I enjoy the sending plus finding cards that my destination would like is part of the fun

We are glad to see a warm up too! It was in the mid-upper 30s yesterday and sounds like nice weather will continue for a few days.

I agree, this week has flown by. One more week closer to warm weather and spring!

The vintage cards and pictures you post are very fun!

Hope you have a great weekend.

The postcard with the little girl is adorable. I've never heard of Liberate Your Art, but it sounds very interesting. And I'm very familiar with Pantone colors....and love their color of the year. Oh yeah, and we have a spot on our kitchen ceiling from an obvious leak in the roof too!

The post card swap sounds neat. I hope you hear from all of them this year.

I did know about radiant orchid, but only because I read about it on another blog. If I didn't blog, I'd never know anything that was happening.

1) We leave our tree up until January 6th, old Christmas Day, but I noticed on our trip to town last evening that there were still quite a few trees still up.

2)Too bad about your drip. I hope it isn't indicating a serious repair.

3)The mail-call swap sounds interesting. Maybe this year more will reply to your post card.

4) Love your vintage cards!

5) I like purples that are more in a plumy hue.

Have a great weekend!

Barr's Postcard News had an article on vintage snowmen postcards this week.

My favorite snowmen postcards are the Soviet New Year cards.

OOOOOH! Yippee! This is the first year for me to join "Liberate your art" - How marvelous to know I have a chum already experienced at it.

I have only just begun learning - will that stop me??? Oh, NO!!! I Realize it takes a lot of bad art to create the better stuff destined to emerge . . . so, I'll be sending, beginners art this year . . at least it's happy & colorful, hm???

Great day to YOU!

As I've grown older, I have developed more appreciation for "vintage." Might this mean I'm approaching that status myself? Cute postcard! Good luck with your swap.

Thanks for sticking w/ me and stopping by my blog to comment now and again. It has suffered so much over the past few months that I think I've lost what few followers I had. If I find that I can't keep the ideas and posts flowing this year I may just pack it in.

The art swap sounds neat! From what I read, you need to have your artwork printed to postcard size?

That is one of the pitfalls of swaps, you don't always hear back from other participants. I've taken part in a few, and for the most part they work out, but once in a while they don't.

Stay warm, and happy new year!

What a darling little snowman! This is such a cute postcard. Here in Oregon we have not felt the cold. I believe we are in the 5% of our nation which is still above freezing. Amazing!
