Hey Snap---Where did you get that 'handle'???? All I can think about is Sugar Snap Peas!!!! ha ha

Is the point of burning a page in your journal a way to get rid of old baggage from your past??? I know, we used to burn our sins on the cross on Ash Wed. in my church... Same thing---kinda????

Have fun!!!
Hugs,
Betsy--the Right Brain!!!! ha

Great wrecking! Sounds like the water to extinguish the fire was a nice bonus.

I think the ash after burning was the unexpected cool -- I smeared it all around! Nice radius of a burn!

I like how your burned page looks like a profile of a mouth open with teeth.

That is funny.

I was wondering about your ID name, too! I always thing of "Ginger snaps" or "snap dragons" or just picture someone snapping their fingers, LOL!

This journaling has got my curiosity up considerably. What a great metphor for just living life on the edge sometimes. Hmmm...I hope that doesn't mean that you get burned though!

My husband asked me today if I had purchased a coloring book for myself. When I showed him the journal he just rolled his eyes...but I found him asking if he could look at it a little while later. He had forgotten that he's helped me burn that page. LOL Goofy boys.

You have taken off, girl! I haven't been able to bring myself to burn the page yet. I've started the composting process and a few other pages but am still feeling very anal about the whole thing. I WANT to wreck...but I'm loving how I'm learning about letting go in the art process. It was abundantly clear to me this week in the studio how I agonize over one little line and how I attempt to play it safe. Here's to total wreckage (at some point)!
