I love flamingos. Beautiful exhibit. The black-tipped wings are quite interesting. I wonder if that is a trait of this species.

Beautiful photos! Our granddaughter will be 10 in August and since January she has been planning that we will go to the Philadelphia Zoo especially to see the Flamingos. She wants her party theme to be flamingos too. August is getting closer so I better start getting some ideas :)

I think flamingos are such unique birds - pretty in pink, but rather gangly looking. My daughter was fascinated with flamingos when she was younger - everything had a flamingo on it.
The birds look happy in their environment.
