I'm taking notes...ten pumpkin seeds, woods, cross shape... OK, I think I'm ready.

What a wonderful postcard! I love the artwork, and the poem is just hilarious--I'd never read it before. Thank you so much for posting.

Happy PFF!

Is that a well known precaution, I wonder? I hadn't heard it before. Presumably the witches end up with a good supply of pumpkins the next year.

I'd think about taking 10 pumpkin seeds but would probably eat them along the way. Vintage postcards have so many spells and suggests for keeping the things that go bang in the night away.

Hmmmm - I'm not sure I'd have any remorse, even without this charm. Have a good weekend, Snap - full of laughter, I hope.

Great card. I wondered where witches lived. A very strange verse and an unusual number. I wonder if 10 has a magical significance, ten to one it has.

Nice card. Riding a broom seems tricky, not...treaty. How can you avoid falling sideways, on the axis of the broom? :)
Maybe if you keep your [thighs?] very tight...
Which reminds me of an old "Radio Erevan" joke:
[CALLER]: Is it true that you can use a [Tylenol, let's say] as a contraceptive?
[Radio Erevan]: Yes, if you keep it very tight between your knees.

Is it a little late to plant the seeds? Do they have to germinate to be effective? What about Good Witches? I wouldn't mind a visit from a Good Witch!
