Life's coincidences add to its interest and sometimes are a little spooky.

Very interesting, Snap.... Since you love Asian art, have you ever visited any of the Asian countries??? My hubby did a teacher exchange with China for several years back in the early 90's. He absolutely LOVES China...

When his wife died, his daughter thought that he would move to China fulltime... Luckily, he didn't --and then he and I met!!!!

Beautiful old postcard.
Hugs,
Betsy

The great thing about living not that far from DC is that we can go to the Smithsonian and this building is spectacular as is the whole place. Great engraved old postcards. Thanks for sharing your knowledge on Asian art. xox Corrine

Hey Snap!

Lovely cards. The first one especially reminded me of my Early Far Eastern Art History class I took in college. We took a field trip to the Cinncinati art museum (I think that was the one) which had the most AMAZING collection of early Asian art. Bliss...

Thanks for the memory,

Kate

Lovely vessel! I have a fondness for Asian art, but I am certainly no expert! It must have been exciting to put your skills to work for a museum!
