I love meerkats. We have a very good display of them here in Tulsa also. It has been years since I've been to the Houston Zoo.

Wonderful photos! Beautiful lighting! There used to be a meerkat show on Animal Planet I watched all the time. Fell in love with these little critters too. Have a great weekend.

My darling little grandson introduced me to these hilarious little fellas. Aren't they just too much? He knows more about animals that most adults....it's been an interesting journey.

They are fun to watch, particularly if the zoo has a large group of them. Their behavior reminds me a lot of prairie dogs.

I have always loved apes and chimps. I really can and have watch them forever. They are so amusing. There are times I truly believe they see me and are performing for me.
