Very pretty teapot with the bird on the side, glad you found the cream and sugar to match. The star of your table is the teacup - a pretty colour with a stunning inside. I can only imagine drinking a clear tea and seeing the flowers and gold leaves while sipping. The painting is sweet, that would be Topaz up begging for a treat. :-)
How lovely to receive the teapot and then to find the sugar and creamer! They make a beautiful set especially with the stunning aqua teacup! Very lovely posting, Snap, and thanks for joining me for tea. Have a delightful week.
Beautiful. Reminds me of my husbands grandmother . She was a teacup collector. I always loved to get a cup with a beautiful design inside. Like finding a special gift.
The painting is lovely and surprising in its playfulness (for that time).
I love your gifted teapot, Snap, and then to find the sugar and creamer...how wonderful. Your teacup is a work of art and a pleasure to drink tea from, I'm sure. Happy tea day to you!
Lovely tea setting. How nice that you found matching sugar and creamer. And the blue on the teacup is beautiful! I love the painting, esp how well behaved that big dog is!
Like you, I love Aynsley Pembroke -- second only to my love of blue and white! You're lucky to find some in a thrift shop and I adore your little teapot.
Would you believe in January I found a set of Aysnley Pembroke for 8 in a flea market for the TOTAL price of $30! Yes, just $30 and I didn't get it (no room, I thought) and so the next week had to go back to get it and it was still there!
What a great picture--thanks for sharing! I LOVE that teacup! Sometimes the cups with the designs in the cup itself are extra pretty--I'm imagining drinking a light white tea while enjoying that pretty pattern :)
I love how the painting inspired your tea post. The tea set and special cup are beautiful, Snap! I just made some mint tea, so I'd better go find something pretty to put it in for sipping!
What a beautiful tea time! Enjoyed your post so much! You were sure lucky to find a creamer and sugar at a thrift store to match! Such a cute picture! Nancy

Isn't it lovely?
The Aynsley teapot was a gift.
I found the sugar and creamer in a thrift shop.
They are marked Aynsley Pembroke reproduction of an 18th century design.

I paired the tea set with my favorite Aynsley teacup.
I love the aqua shade and the beautiful interior design.

Aynsley sure knows how to make teatime a treat!

Speaking of a teatime treat.
Here's an oil painting by John Charlton done around 1883.
It's title is Teatime Treat.
Looks like my house when three kitties realize there is food around!
