Kerry Garrison has written "Building Your Own PBX with Asterisk" which introduced me to a use of Linux I hadn't thought of before. Asterisk looks like some pretty impressive open source software and the low cost of basic cards (we're talking $10 here) has me thinking this might be a cool project to try out. Assuming you can get the basic PBX running, additional hardware could save you some big bucks. 2005-03-05 15:31 C&T
