Well, it looks like the Slashdot article did it. Because of thousands of slashdotters the book "katie.com" had extremely negative reviews at the major book sellers' websites and untold numbers of angry e-mails went to Ms. Tarbox and Penguin Puttnam. Under this pressure, Penguin Puttnam has finally caved and done the right thing, 4 years late. Read PP's press release here: Plume Re-titles Book by Katie Tarbox "A Girl's Life Online."
