I only hope they make the new achievements harder to get. Hard enough for joe to "promote" only his one or two favorite classes, the ones he's really good at. The last thing we need is every Pyro in the game packing Molotov cocktails. Oops, I think I just started a rumor :D
Yes my 20 minutes in COD4 changed my life and gave me a deep understanding of the COD4 multiplayer mechanics :p
that and the fact that the original source quotes the similarities to COD4 :p
Yes I agree these achievements should in some way include a (played class for 50 hours) or something, to ensure that say life-long medics will get a kick, not just the average Jo Shmo.

And talking about COD4 , I finally did unlock the Eavesdrop perk .. haven't tried it yet but I read that it does the same thing as Time Splitters does .. where you can listen or see the enemy’s chat when you are CLOSE to them not the whole time which makes sense. specially fun when you're a sniper and someone is sneaking up on you or the other way !!
I know this is off-subject but you guys need to get COD4 ASAP if not then we just need play it the way it is which worked fine with everyone's copy !! And the more I play it the more it feels like I'm in a movie not a game because of its realism ... I was playing on a 54 player server last night on a map called BLOC which is based in Chernobyl - Russian

And this map is pretty much a sniping map + assault at the same time but the fun part of it is that there is 2 building right across from each other and you just sit or prone there and snip each other .. very fun , tense .. because you be sitting there looking through your scope and you hear that .50 Caliber go off and boom you're dead .. scary at some point.
There is a few youtube sniping vids of this map if you wanna see what I'm talking about :-)
But one of the most killer feature of this game as you guys already know is that you can shoot through objects and even players as one of my clan members nailed down to enemys with one bullet when they right next to each other and he was really close to them so more bullet velocity !!!
The game has a realtime system that calculates the bullets velocity accourding to the following 3 attributes:
1. Bullet Caliber 2. Distance the bullet is traveling 3. Object thickness
I was playing that Bloc level yesterday and I was in a spot where I saw someone’s muzzle flash from behind a wall and I kind of estimated where he was and boom I shot him through a brick wall using the R700 Sniper Rifle, it was awesome !!
Damn you man! Enough already about this stupid COD4.
Anmar is getting it via Steam, Blue Blood is gonna go out and buy it, and I'm still being a cheapskate and waiting for thinigie bingie to send me my free copy. Or not :( The bastardos!!!

Look who's talking about enough talking about a game ... check your blog and see how much stuff you have wrote and explained about TF2 before you even dare to call the greatest MP game of all time a stupid game ?!
Correction: I mentioned that the level BLOC is based on Chernobyl, Russia its actually Prypiat, Ukraine. It's one of the cities in the outskirts that was affected by the Chernobyl disaster ini 1986 !!

While everyone else is enjoying blasting people around, I'm working nights and don't own the BEST MP GAME IN THE WORLD yet.
And, I thought F.E.A.R. was THE BEST MP GAME IN THE WORLD. What happened to that shit chaleb?!
Anyhow, as I said - I'll be having a copy come Friday, by hook or by crook. Looking forward to some earlier fraggin' with AM on Thursday (which we both got off) and on Friday with the rest of "The Clan" and that special guest who might just be Wolf, if the rumours are to be believed.

Valve let rip a few weeks ago that changes are a-coming to our beloved TF2, but not much else was said. Today, the official PCGAMER blog details the changes, and BY GOD are we in for a surprise!
First of all, the new maps shipping next month are Badlands and Goldrush. Both of which focus around a new game type (unnamed as yet) which sounds like great fun: BLU have to "escort" a mining cart from their base to the RED base. The cart moves faster the more BLU players there are next to it, BUT stands still if there's a single RED player nearby :) Allegedly this is fantastic fun because the fight is constantly changing due to varying choke points along the track. The engineers are gonna have a great time on this one :D
More importantly though is the big class changes on the way. Valve will start experimenting with a COD4-like system using the Medic to start off with: He will get 35 new achievements, if he gets half of them he unlocks a new gun!! This can be kitted out in a "Load Out" screen that is rumoured to be enabled BEFORE the game (as opposed to in-game), and is called an "Overhealer". It lets the medic buff a patient to 200% of their health PERMANENTLY. Valve are going to either severely cripple it's Ubercharging or remove it entirely. The medic can carry either this gun or his old ubergun, but not both.
As you can see this will add some great tactical/fun changes to the game! There's also a 2nd new medicgun that hasn't been detailed yet, but the medic can get that when he's gotten all 35 achievements (allegedly it changes the WAY his patients play!). It's all very COD4-like.
These changes should be coming in 2 months or so, and will start on a very limited Medic-only basis. Any more class changes will be implemnted slowly following feedback from the medic thing, and also following player suggestions as Valve wants to hear from the community about all this, which is what makes TF2 so awesome!!!
More exciting details here. I bet everyone would wanna play medic in a few months time! Go away you bastards, they should limit these changes to people who played medic from day one *cough* me *cough*
