elgooG. Think about it. Read it out loud. The elfen folk out there would have already noticed that it's actually Google spelt backwards. So what?
Thanks to communism in China, google was a banned website that was blocked from the chinese public as it contained information they shouldn't be exposed to (read: contained links to websites that had the truth about communism).
So, what do the clever people that live on the internet do? they make a Google mirror, call it elgooG and LITERALLY mirror the site there (in other words everything is wrong way round, but fully functional!). This ofcourse bypassed the chinese proxies and gave our fellow chinamen the chance to elgooG whatever they needed!
Ofcourse this is now not necessary as Google has been openned up there, but still for all it's worth it was a great idea. The original elgooG still exists, just point your browsers here.
