1313 is a Varactor - a variable inductor.

The inside bit carrying a coil rotates within an outer coil so the phasing between the two (hence the inductance) changes.

They used to be quite popular as a means of matching aerials to radio, or even occasionally tuning the radio itself.

1314 = TV repairman's box

1315 = self heating glue scraper

1316 = on of a set of two Quoins used
to lock-up hot type in the chase

1317 = Quoin wrench = used to tighten quoins and tap down the form in the chase.

1314 is a "Tube Caddy" used to carry replacment radio and TV tubes.
