1184 - Without seeing a side-view of the item, it looks like a downward-looking view of a rotor for a medium-to-high speed centrifuge. The silver-colored center portion would screw into the centrifuge's spindle and hold the rotor in place, with the dark colored portion being the fixed-angle rotor itself. The outer silver area would be the "floor" of the centrifuge.
