1255. a concrete lug. expandable fastner for the building trade to fasten into concrete
1256. not sure what for but simplex makes bicycle parts/ accesories & it appears to have proper radius at the ends for a bike frame.

I agree about the concrete lug.

1253 looks like it's designed to either push cables apart, or pull them together, perhaps for fencing?

1251 is a miter jack. Used with a hand plane to neatly and accurately miter the end of a piece of wood to 45 degrees.
