1283: based upon the M-S-A (mine safety administration)on the dial, and it's scale, I'm guessing a combustible gas meter for use inside mines.
1286: yes.
1287: a scarifier, for bleeding patients.
1288. yes, though it looks like the model of 1883.

1287. is yes a blood "letter" for bleeding patients a process called Leaching because it used to be done by leaches.

1288. is a "Gatling" type machine gun though I think that this particular one is actually by the french inventor Maxim.
