831 If you had two, I would say it's some kind of lumber dog for holding one log secure on top of another one while sawing or chopping. Drive them into the lower log, then place the other log on top. Hammer or drop the upper log to secure it.

833 serving trivet with a rather artistic design. Keeps hot plates and pans off the table.

832. I disagree with the security camera answers. In my town we have infrared detectors to sense emergency vehicles, and change the traffic signals to speed thier progress.

831.For some reason"rope fitting" comes to mind,like for temporary splicing or rigging a harness.

833.Either a specialty plane of some sort or a type of wire stripper,evidenced by the bevel edge at bottom of slot.

Hard to judge these two w/o scale reference.
