I agree with Rick on 422. being a sundial. Looks like a portable "travel" version. Align the instrument using the compass and adjust the angle of the side boards based on the time of year. Not sure why there would be two sundails, though...

Yes, they are track shoe spikes.

It has a compass so it could be used for navigation, and it is partly a sundial. Yet there is still something else it's used for.

It's a reamer but I think it's for pipes, not sure if it could be used on kegs.
