222- Chain pliers. Used to open and close the chain links used in hanging chandelier work. End is used to spread the link. The two hollows behind the spring are used to close them.

I believe the other posts are wrong about item 226. It's not a policeman's sap. Rather, it is used to keep a book open, but not like a bookmark, which is positioned in the vertical crease; this is laid horizontally across the pages of a book, with each end resting on a page to weigh it down.
