Picture # 72 Is a professional grade engineering compass what you are looking at is the adjustment wheel, and from the design it appears to be a ALVIN or a STAEDTLER/MARS. It could be a divder also but more likely a compass.

Picture # 73 Appears to be an insulator, the kind that is used in building an amateur radio antenna you could get them in either made of glass or high grade plastic.

Picture # 74 This is a cap dart, its unknown if they still sells them but I played with them in the late 40’s and fifties. You could use a pad or a roll caps the same kind you used in your cap gun. You would load the cap into the top part of the dart some had a tops that flipped back and other the tops just screw on and off.

You would load the cap in the top part of the dart and then throw it up as high as you could or wanted as it landed the cap would explode. That accounts for the nicks and scratches on the top part of it.

Its present day valve who knows to the right collector…you could be surprised.

sorry did realize they were all together.

Correct, it's a compass, although the maker is Maped.

Yes, it's a radio strain insulator.

Correct, it's a cap grenade.

Thanks for the reply, feel free to join us at the newsgroup rec.puzzles, I've been posting links to this site there for people to guess/figure out what the photos are. Or you can continue to post comments here if you like.
