You shouldn't have put that picture of the copper lines on here !! Hope a thief doesn't see it and pay you a call. People are breaking into vacant houses up here and stripping the copper tubing out.One guy even got electrocuted at a power sub station trying to steal copper wire . Hope you have a blessed day. I recognise the farm implement, we called them Acrobat rakes over here. There were four of the wheel type rakes that could be arranged in various configurations depending on what you want to do with the hay. It was all quite clever really as no power was required to drive the rake, it just used the forward motion of the tractor that was pulling it.
Hi Gail, thanks for stopping by my blog. Just in case you don't got back to check responses to comments, here is the answer to your questions regarding why we don't let them out to graze. Pippin foundered two years ago. Fresh grass has a lot of carbohydrates that can induce founder again. We do let them graze, but as the grass begins to green up in the spring we cut them back to an hour or so a day, and then gradually work up to more time. By fall they are usually on grass almost all day. Doc doesn't seem to have this problem, but I hate to let one out and not the other! Thanks for the question!

Almost missed this one. I went searching for it. AT&T keeps complaining that we hit our useage and we are going over. I didn't even know we had one, so my computer only works on off days now. :)

Pat has me hooked on Thursday's Things In A Row,I see them now, where ever I go.[Image]steaks on the hoof,or baby calves if you prefer,[Image]fresh squash from the garden,[Image]and stuff where I work.[Image]Flowers line up, just for me,[Image]and farm equipment has lines to see.Thank you, Pat!Just what I needed for my OCD!
