You're part way to becoming a "Maritimer" with Duct Tape on yer boots. A little piece of plastic bag across the tear or hole and then the duct tape would make them waterproof. he,he Have a wonderful July 4th - we will walk across border into our nesting town of Calais, USA and partake in the festivities today and fireworks on the river tonight. Approx 7 min walk from the house. Main street gets closed today and filled with vendors, sidewalk sales, etc. Lots of excitement going on. Happiness to you n yours :)
I'm a great lover of duct tape and have two rolls of it in the kitchen. I use it for anything at all. I am glad you were able to fix those boots, because they look like they can give you a few more years of service. It is a small flaw in the design, though, that they tear so easily there.
ha isnt it amazing what a little duck tape can do...smiles...yep hey if they are good boots you gotta do what you can you know...smiles...happy independence day
Oh, I don't know. If you duct tape them a little more, I think they will be waterproof. ;-)
Great job, Gail. Have a wonderful weekend! :-)
