That was a close one with the truck... and good for you with your fast thinking! (A friend of mine had a similar situation but the outcome was not so good)

That had to be scary seeing the truck coming back at you, glad you were able to get around it. Water can wreak so much havoc. Stay safe.

Quick thinking on your part. Gosh I'm glad you're such a good driver. And I am so, so glad that you were safe during the storms.

What a scary story. First about the bad weather and flooding, then the truck! Glad everything is coming back to normal. Now we will be getting the floods this week, rain all week. We had to turn back from a trip today.

Yup. Good thinking. Glad you're all safe.

Never realized how noisy cows were until we retired down here.

Hope your blessings continue, as they claim the weather will this week.

He started backing up? That is just crazy! The accident he would've caused if you hadn't moved...
Tornadoes have killed a lot of people the past two days.

Gail,

Beautiful pictures even with the damaged road. Good fast thinking on your part with getting around the tractor trailer. Obviously the person driving that truck couldn't drive.
Don't work to hard today :-)

For a few hours, all hell breaks loose, and then it is all over and the sky is blue. Glad you are safe.

'Been thinkin' of ya doll. I saw the warnings in your neck of the woods Sunday and said a little prayer for ya.

Locally Ava got hit pretty hard but nothin' like northern Ark.

Ya'll take care, that flood water can be a booger! We're still tryin' to recover from the MO. flood last year. The Ponderosa went under. Heck...you may have some of our fencin'! Heeehehe!

God bless and enjoy this beautiful day sweetie! :o)

Bill was there when the tornado hit outside Little Rock. He was in the Oklahoma one last year. I worry.
I am glad you are all okay, too.

You sure tell a damn good story, you sure as hell do. I would open a cafe called, The Damned Good Cafe, just to answer the phone that way. Will you come and work for me?

I was wondering how you had faired through the storms. Glad to know all is well in your neck of the woods, if not a little wet!
