Hilarious Gail and that's exactly what I would have done - burned it, I mean. :) I'm going to try that recipe though because bread pudding is my husband's favorite dessert. blessings, marlene

Oh, you silly tilly, thanks a bunch, Eh, for giving me the first good giggle of 2013. I think you and I gotta be related somehow - my Mom asked me to start the ham for ham dinner one day. I put about an inch of water on the bottom and put in the ham and put it in the oven??? Mom came home just in time to rescue and put things right. I feel I am a pretty good cook most of the time, but I like to cook out doors. I do most of my cooking on BBQ and let me tell you, you can cook ANYTHING on the BBQ - I loved this post. :)

Sorry, trying really hard not to laugh, but this reminds me of my mother making scuppernon jelly, then sitting down to the computer to play solitaire. Burnt to a crisp. At least you saved yours!

That positively made my stomach hurt. You will think of something to make the best out of the worst situation. I call that straight optimism, sunny side up. I think you should try that bread pudding again but remember to take it out on time. It may be a whole new experience that will impress your family even more. And put the raisins in that time. You are such a good baker that it will turn out great. xox

Happy New Year, Gail. May this be the only thing that didn't turn out as you expected this year. See? You got that out of the way early!

I am SO danged proud of you! Bread pudding is a favorite of mine but leave it to the kids bakery to make it for me.

HOW I wish life was that easy to to fix. I would turn this world up side down if I could change what is going on in my life right now.
Much love..and a big hug!
Happy New Year, dear friend!

Anything can be saved when crumbled and used as an ice cream topping. And even if that won't work it goes to the hens and magically turns into fresh eggs! ;) stevie@ruffledfeathersandspilledmilk.com
